Berguedà is an exceptionally varied region. It takes the course of the Llobregat River, which stamps a unique personality on the area and moulds its countryside. It covers the plain and the summits of the Pre-Pyrenees, so it can offer the visitor a wide range of landscapes, natural areas, animals and plants. We give you the opportunity of getting closer to the priceless natural treasures of the region and we suggest some places so you can discover them in person.
In the region, there are 11 protected places due to their natural value. On the one hand, we can find the well-known massifs of Cadí-Moixeró and Pedraforca, which are symbols of the Catalan hiking history. Cadí-Moixeró is a Natural Park and Pedraforca is a Natural Site of National Interest, for their great value in terms of ecology, landscape and identity of the territory. On the other hand, there are several sites distributed throughout the Upper and Lower Berguedà. They show the natural and landscape richness of the region.
